Legacy Configuration

Legacy Rise Client configuration: JVM arguments and Rise JSON profile for third-party Minecraft launchers.

Overview

These settings apply when you launch Legacy with a third-party launcher. The Rise Launcher from vantage.rip usually does not need this page.

JVM arguments

If you use Minecraft Launcher or another third-party launcher (not Rise Launcher), add:

-noverify -XX:+DisableAttachMechanism

For Minecraft Launcher, a full argument string used in the Legacy tutorials is:

-XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -noverify -XX:+DisableAttachMechanism

Rise JSON profile

Third-party launchers such as Minecraft Launcher or HMCL need a Rise .json version profile.

Download (Google Drive backup from the Legacy tutorials):

Rise.json on Google Drive

Place and select that profile according to your launcher’s version/import UI.
