Operator and scope

Rise.tips (rise.tips) is a community-made documentation and feedback site operated by an individual in Australia who uses the name Leo. It is not a company, sales site, payment processor, or public account service. It is not an official Rise or Vantage website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rise, Vantage, or their operators.

This page describes personal information handled by Rise.tips. Product downloads and accounts on vantage.rip are outside this site and follow that site’s own policies.

Privacy contact is Discord username leo728 only. No public email address or postal address is published for this site.

Server and security information

When you visit rise.tips, infrastructure used to host the site may process request data needed to deliver pages and protect the service. That can include IP address, request URL, timestamps, User-Agent, and related network metadata. Cloudflare provides hosting, networking, and security for this site.

First-party visitor analytics

By default, Rise.tips records first-party analytics on documentation pages so the operator can understand traffic and improve the docs. Analytics may store:

• visitor cookie rt_vid (about 90 days) and session cookie rt_sid (about 30-minute idle timeout)
• opt-out cookie rt_optout and a browser localStorage flag when you opt out
• full IP address
• country and region provided by Cloudflare
• raw User-Agent, plus browser name/version, operating system, and device type derived from it
• page path including query string, page title, and full referrer URL when available
• page start, heartbeat, and end events, plus estimated active time on page
• clicks on cdn.rise.tips / rise.tips media links, and outbound clicks to vantage.rip, including destination URL and link label when available
• request information used for rate limiting and abuse prevention

Analytics cookies are first-party, HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. An IP address identifies a network endpoint, not necessarily one person.

Outbound clicks to vantage.rip are counted only as redirects from this site. Rise.tips cannot see whether a download completed on vantage.rip.

Admin analytics views that show IP and visitor detail are protected by Cloudflare Access.

Opt out of site analytics

Opting out stops future first-party analytics for this browser and clears the analytics identity cookies. It does not guarantee immediate deletion of records already stored for the retention period.

Feedback and Turnstile

When you submit feedback, Rise.tips stores:

• feedback message and category
• page path, locale, and documentation version (nextgen, legacy, or shared)
• a required contact channel you choose: email, Vantage username, or Discord username
• hashed IP address (SHA-256 with a server-side salt; raw IP is not stored for feedback)
• User-Agent
• moderation records: status, assignment, operator notes, soft-delete markers, and audit events

Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the feedback form to reduce automated abuse. Turnstile may process network and device information as part of that challenge. See Cloudflare’s privacy documentation for Cloudflare’s processing.

YouTube embeds, downloads, and external links

Some documentation pages embed YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced host when available. Loading or playing an embed may still let Google/YouTube process network and device information under their policies.

Links to external sites—including vantage.rip, YouTube, Google Drive, GitHub, Mega, and similar resources—are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies. Rise.tips does not control how those sites handle your information.

How data is used

Data described on this page is used to:

• operate and secure the documentation site
• understand documentation traffic and improve content
• review and respond to feedback
• prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
• maintain moderation and audit records for site operations

Service providers and disclosures

Rise.tips uses Cloudflare for hosting, networking, security, Turnstile, Access-protected admin access, and D1 database storage used for feedback and analytics.

Information may be disclosed if required by law, or as needed to protect the site, users, or the operator from abuse or security threats.

Rise.tips does not sell personal information and does not use cross-site targeted advertising on this documentation site.

International processing

Because the site is hosted on Cloudflare’s global network and database services, personal information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including countries that may not provide the same legal protections as your home jurisdiction. Exact data-center locations are determined by Cloudflare’s infrastructure and are not listed as fixed countries on this page.

Retention

• Visitor analytics events, sessions, visitor records, and related IP data are retained for up to 90 days, then deleted by an automated retention job.
• Feedback content, contact details, moderation fields, soft-deleted feedback rows, and audit events are retained as needed for site operations. There is no fixed automatic final deletion schedule for feedback or audit records today.
• Soft-deleted feedback may remain unavailable in the normal admin list while related audit events are kept.

Your choices and privacy requests

• Use the analytics opt-out control on this page to stop future first-party analytics in the current browser.
• To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information Rise.tips holds about you, contact Discord username leo728.
• Requests may need enough information to verify that the request is genuine and relates to the right records. If Rise.tips cannot reliably match anonymous or pseudonymous analytics records to a requester, those records may not be locatable.
• Opting out of analytics does not by itself delete already retained analytics records before the 90-day retention window ends. You may still ask for deletion through Discord.

Children

Rise.tips is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children should not submit personal information through the feedback form. If the operator learns that personal information was collected from a child in a way that requires parental consent under applicable law, a parent or guardian may contact Discord username leo728 to request review or deletion.

Security

Rise.tips uses HTTPS, Cloudflare security controls, Access protection for admin tools, and server-side hashing for feedback IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

If this page changes in a material way, the effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised page describes the current practices.
